Djanet

Founded by the Tuareg People during the Middle Ages, Djanet has a long and important history. During this trip, we will explore the various neighborhoods and areas of Djanet. We will visit the very popular souk (marketplace) of central Djanet, visit the Djanet museum and spend time with the local people. We will explore the ancient mountain of Timbur, important to the People of Djanet, and visit Iffri. You will stay at a local hostel during your time in Djanet.
