Home to the Tuareg People who have lived there for over a thousand years. It is an area rich in history and culture. Aboogi Tours is located in the old city of Djanet in southern Algeria. We specialize in camping tours in the Tassili n'Ajjer National Park, an UNESCO World Heritage Site due its numerous prehistoric rock paintings. We are experienced tour guides who can show you the best sites to camp and explore our tenere (desert) from Tadrart Rouge and Sefar all the way north to Iherir, a stunningly beautiful ancient oasis village.

Our tours offer a complete array of services including food and drink! 

  • Transportation to and from the Djanet Airport, known to locals simply as "Tiska"

  • Lodging at our guest house when you are in Djanet and transportation around Djanet

  • Transportation around the desert in our reliable 4 x 4 vehicles

  • Camel rides  

  • Three complete meals each day (including demonstrations of how to make taguella, the desert bread that is cooked in the Saharan sand)

  • Tuareg music, dance and camaraderie every night around a campfire

  • As much Tuareg tea as you can drink!
